Breast Plastic Surgery

Breast plastic surgery is a popular cosmetic procedure that changes the size, shape or appearance of a woman’s breasts. It can enhance a natural breast, correct post-childbirth breast deformities or repair a mastectomy.

There are many options for breast plastic surgery, including implants, lifts and reductions, flaps and grafts. Choosing the right surgery is important because it’s a permanent change in your body.

You should carefully consider your choices and choose a surgeon who is registered with the General Medical Council or is on the specialist register for plastic surgery.

Women with sagging breasts may want a lift to make their breasts look perkier and fit better in clothes. This surgery involves removing excess skin, shifting fat and other tissues and reshaping the nipple area.

You and your plastic surgeon will discuss your preferences for size, feel and appearance of the breasts before you agree on a surgical plan. You’ll also talk about your preferred implant type, such as smooth or textured and saline or silicone, and surgical technique. 가슴필러 시술

During the surgery, your plastic surgeon will make a cut (incision) in the breast crease (known as the inframammary fold). This leaves a thin scar that isn’t visible when you wear a bra or swimsuit. Your surgeon can also make a small cut under your armpit, if you prefer an incision that’s less noticeable.

The most common method of breast augmentation is by placing an implant into each breast. You and your plastic surgeon will decide on an implant size, either round or teardrop shape, saline or silicone and whether to use a saline or silicone gel.

Some patients with sagging breasts may benefit from an implant plus lift. This is a surgical combination that lifts the breasts, makes them smaller and more firm, and corrects a “double-bust” effect caused by tissue laxity.

Other options for reshaping the breasts include using your own body’s tissue to rebuild the breast. In autologous tissue reconstruction, a piece of tissue that contains skin, fat and blood vessels is taken from elsewhere on the body to reconstruct the breast.

This is often done to treat breast cancer or mastectomy and can help avoid an allergic reaction to synthetic implants.닥터케빈의원

During a breast reconstruction, you might be given a temporary device called a tissue expander to prepare the breast for an implant. When the expander is ready, your plastic surgeon will insert a breast implant. You can choose the size and shape of your implant, but be aware of an extremely rare association between textured implants and the development of a form of lymphoma called BIA-ALCL.

After breast reconstruction, your skin will take time to heal and scar. During this time, you should protect your breasts from sun exposure. The scars might become red and lumpy for 1 to 2 years before they gradually soften and thin. You might notice that you need a smaller bra size after you have surgery. This is because your breasts will be firmer, and they might not need as much support from a bra or bralette.
